My name is Daniel. My journeys are inspired by the Australian Aboriginal custom called Walkabout. My Rideabout, as I call it, is a journey from a permanent residence to temporary mobility during which I’ll spend at least a year on the road traveling by bicycle, practicing bushcraft and carrying out my mission of cleaning up America’s parks and waterways to give back to the communities through which I’ll travel. My route will take me along the Southern Tier with detours to the Texas Hill Country as well as the Florida Loop and other side trips along the way. You can read about my current and past journeys in the blog, and find news articles about me here.
